About North Point
Who We Are
North Point Creations is a home renovation contractor based in Kitchener, Ontario, working across Waterloo Region and the surrounding area. Founded by Kennedy Kerr, we have spent more than ten years on projects ranging from single kitchens to full house rebuilds in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph and Elmira.
We are not the biggest contractor in the region, and we are not trying to be. Staying small enough that Kennedy is on every site is what lets us hold a schedule and answer the phone. A good share of our work now comes from clients on their second or third project with us.
Our Approach
Plan It Properly, Then Build It Once
Most renovation problems are decided before anyone picks up a tool. A layout that was never tested, a budget built on allowances instead of prices, a schedule with no slack in it. We spend longer than most contractors on that planning stage because it is the cheapest place to change your mind.
Once we start, the standards are simple and checkable. Walls opened up get inspected before they close. Problems found behind them get documented, priced and shown to you. Cabinetry goes in level and scribed. The site gets swept at the end of every day.
We work in the same neighbourhoods year after year, which shapes how we build. Materials get chosen for how they hold up in Ontario homes, not for how they photograph on installation day, and we would rather you call us back for the next project than for a repair.
